Hello. In the first days of June, I decided I'll start excercising every morning after dressing up and brushing my teeth. First it was a regular warmup and stretching, finished by 20 situps and 10 pushups. I never once omitted an excercise and now I'm doing 50/40. By the time my excercising progressed, I found out that my confidence had somewhat risen and is way higher, I'd say for about 30-40, maybe even 50% percent. And I'm absolutely enjoying it! Is it because of the excercising? I heard somewhere that sweat produces hormones that increase male confidence and it would also explain some of the old stereotyped "all brawn, no brain" guys. You probably know who I mean. Another question that rises is if I stop excercising, will my confidence drop? Amd if I excercise more, is it going to rise more? Thoughts? |

MC Kejml, You bet your confidence will continue to go up with the more you exercise and so will your success. The more you do it, the more results you will see. Keep it up and don't stop. It's amazing what exercise will do for the mind and for your overall health.

There are several reasons for increased confidence: 1. Physically, exercising helps your body produce endorphins which lower stress and increase happiness. 2. Psychologically, you are more pleased with yourself because you view your exercising, increased strength and increased agility as a success created from within yourself. Most people love being successful. 3. I have heard a quote from, I forget his name but he is the author of the book The Power of Full Engagement, that "the best form of emotional renewal is to get your heart rate up". For some reason, probably related to reason #1, when you exercise aerobically it helps to re-balance your emotions and get rid of negative feelings. In short, keep up the good work | |
