I'd be happy to have 1500 cal in one day.... and still I'm overweight (Yes, I know, comes from eating the wrong things.. I know this cause as soon as I stop eating cookies or chips or icecream for breakfast lunch or dinner I loose weight... )

I always eat some kid of bread product for breakfast. I also eat fruit, and drink juice and protein shakes.

To the original question...

Check Robb Wolf's site. He has quite a few recipes for breakfast and, obviously, he was the author of the post on Tim's site.

I enjoy an omelet of shrimp, eggs, mushrooms, spinach, and whatever herbs I am craving. I don't do fruit but once a week but if you are trying to gain wait you can always add fried sweet potatoes and a fruit of your choice to the mix.

Tons of options. Anything in the produce section is up for the man stomach!

Default Fruit breakfast

I only eat fruit for the first 3 hours of the day, unless I have a Hangover, then I eat eggs with lots of Mayonnaise ;-)

In a book from Tony Robbins, I have read a big piece about how healthy it was not to eat anything else than fruits for the first hours of your day.

I tried it, and now prepare a smoothie immediately when I get out of bed, and afterwards I eat some pieces of fruit when the hungry feeling comes back.

Around noon, I will eat some bread instead or cereal.

Let's live a little,
Niels

The colour of egg yolk just like the colour of salmon can be manipulated be the diet. So salmon farmers or chicken farmers can choose exactly how yellow/orange they want the product to be. Don't let yourself be fooled by the colour.

I eat almost 100% fruit for calories, plus some veg (which I admit can be boring at times) and VERY few fat sources such as nuts and avocadoes. Mostly fruit.
Thanks a lot for replying, Andrew. Next time I treat myself to a book on amazon it will very possibly be the 80/10/10 diet on your recommendation - thanks
