The amount in deoderant that is harmful is probably minimal. Using that product over and over for several years tends to build up deposits of chemicals from this source...which can then become significant, and harmful. It would be hard to know though, if someone got cancer , whether it was from their deoderant, from the air they breathe, radiation from their computer used over a span of 20 years, and all the other unhealthy influences in the world today. Humans adapt to these pollutants of course, and become resilient...but not impermeable.

There's nothing wrong with attempting to have some control at least over the amount of toxic chemicals you allow into your world, particularly on your body. Some people are more sensitive than others are...so they feel the effects of highly chemicalized products moreso than other less sensitive people.
Hmm...I use vaseline on my lips now. Is this unhealthy?

Well, its official..that Thai crystal is doing nothing for me. I put it on immediately after the shower and generously apply it. Nothing.

Have to go with something else.

Well, it is made from petroleum so I guess how much you lick your lips throughout the day would determine how unhealthy it is for you

Not really sure to be honest. Might be worth researching a bit yourself?

As for me, I haven't used a chapstick since I was at school.

I only use lip balms that are made with beeswax, and shea butter and almond oils with as few chems as possible. There will always be some in every product, but you can minimize the amount by checking the labels.

Right now I use Burt Bees. Always assumed it was safe but i'll have to look at the ingredients.

Axe fresh action. Antiperspirant stops the body from releasing toxins and sweat so I don't use that.
