Default What motivates you?

I would like to see comment about this subject..
What motivates you in your life, and how far would you go?

What motivates me in my life is to stand up in the morning and be positive right through my day. I know if i am negative in the morning, then my day won't be fine, and i will crack.. Even if i am so exhausted through out the day to make people happy, i look at the positive side of life itself...

Most of you would think that it is crazy... but there are so much to live for in life.. Life is exciting, there are opportunities. As i said in my other posts, the door is unlock you need to open it, you need to see it..

I doubt anyone here think you're crazy. Of course life is exciting and awesome.

What motivates me to work towards my fitness goal, which is around 80kg and 5-7% body fat is this:

For some reason I have always been very interested in getting the best 6-pack that I could possibly get and this picture is definition of great physique for me. When I don't want to go work out or when I want to cheat with my food, I'll just watch myself in the mirror and see how great I already look and how much greater I can be if I work hard. Of course that makes me train and eat as I should.

I can sometimes be crazy if i want to be crazy... but i've learned the hard way in life... i mean i am a military brat.. My dad was in the South African force... my broter is in the British Army...

So you always learned how to be focus in your life and be fit...

If you set your mind to it, you would be able to look like that... I have a friend who is n body builder.. and it is hard, you need to be focused... I mean i won't be able to eat 1kg of chicken a day and eat 6 times a day.. without cheating their diet.. which i don't know what it is..

It is good that you have a photo that motivates you to look what you want to look... it is so awesome!

Default Table tennis currently

I look forward to playing TT for an hour and a half every evening. Its like a prize for all the studies during the day. It empties your mind of everything and lets you focus on the moment. It dosen't drain your energy. It oxygenates me, like a good cardio workout- but with a lot more fun.

Plus you get to make good friends and contacts. I even persuaded my dad to join the club...

Default Great Job!

Congratulations LifeIsAmazing. I have seen your profile pic and you're almost the same as the picture you posted. I hope I have the same encouragement to get fit. As of now, I always watch lifestyle channel to see all of those ramp models. This inspired me to be fit. Hope it works.

Thanks a lot! I absolutely know that in a year or less I'll have the physique that I believe is ideal for me so I can start maintaining it, which is easier.

Table tennis or as some refer to it as 'ping pong'

Wiki
The game originated as a sport in Britain during the 1800s, where it was played among the upper-class as an after dinner entertainment activity,[4] commonly known then as "wiff-waff"...

Table tennis is so much fun. I'm extremely active when it comes to all kinds of sports as well as table tennis. You can see me moving from one side of the table to the other side 10 times in 10 seconds.

Mastery, music, fitness, etc.
With my fitness goals it's not looks oriented, I'm already ripped, so it's numerical goals and competition related now.

Making my life better that whats been handed to me. And putting on muscle would be great. I work out and get my abs very defined. I look at myself in the mirror after a day of working out and it makes me want to go back the next day.

I must say that i am atleast the lucky one... I don't do any fitness but i still am small, my body figure is fine.. i just need to define my muscles coz it drains out my energy from me... so i decided, i am going to go jog today... All of you motivates me.. Thank you!

But here is another question, with all the motivation and health, can there be success in your healthy lifestyle?

It's not only about physique. You are lucky that your body figure is fine without working out but what about your heart, your breathing, your nervous system, etc.? Do you think they would work better if you exercised?

You forgot stress levels. Working out really helps my high levels of stress and is one of the only things keeping me from snapping lol

What motivates me is the idea of becoming truly manly and getting lots of money.

I'm also motivated by my vision. It gets cloudy from time to time, because I see so many opportunities and want to try all of them :P BUT when you can define yourself a vision and make it quite detailed it starts pulling you. Define goals, activities you wanna do, etc and that will be great start!

Do you realize how manly I would have to be to get drafted by the NBA? Do you realize how much manlier I would be after getting drafted by the NBA? Athletic man + money = all the women because "Power is the ultimate aphrodisiac."

That's something to strive for and I'm not gonna give up striving for it anytime soon.

NBA, meaning basketball?
Just be positive, and set your mind to it... you will be able to strive for it... Do it for yourself, and no one else...
Money is good in the NBA, but how long would you be able to do that? And as for the woman, they should except you for you not the fame!!!!

I see 3 opportunities in self-employment. And they all can be done part time too while keeping my new job (which is a step up from last one already). It's not that I'm afraid, I just can't focus. Only when you are focused you can build something huge. I spin my wheels when I see too many options.
