Default Questions on Bladder Control

Hi, this is sort of an embarrassing question, but I am trying to find help from daily water drinkers. I find myself needing to go to the restroom quite often, and I was wondering how I can reduce my trips to go there during the day?

For example, when I drink a glass of water, I can hold it for a maximum of about 15 minutes and then I have to go... Is this normal? Do "bigger" people have bigger bladders in which they can hold it in longer?

Is there any natural supplements, vitamins, or exercises that I can do to strengthen my bladder? How can make it so I can extend my time limit of holding it in?

Thank you.

Have you just started to increase your water intake, or has this been going on for a while?

Could you have a urinary tract infection? (They don't always cause pain.)

Hi, I was amazed by how quickly you responded.

I have been constant drinking water for a few months now, and yes, I have increased my water intake lately, but not by that much. I have no idea what urinary tract infection is! I hope I don't have it...

What can I say, I'm on it

Usually, if you increase your water intake, your body will take a few days to adjust and in the meantime you'll have to pee a lot. Um... so has this problem been going on for you the entire time you've been constantly drinking water (what is "constant," btw?), or has it just been in the last several days?

Do you have any other symptoms? Extreme thirst? Fatigue? Headaches?

I'm sorry, "constant" probably was the wrong word. It just means that I drink a lot of water. What I want to do is to basically sit in one setting after drinking a glass of water for an hour without having to go. But I only can last for about 15 minutes, and I was wondering if this was normal? How long can other water drinkers hold it in after drinking a glass of water before having to go?

I don't have any other symptoms besides obsessive compulsive disorder.

Dear Hulbert,

I actually go through the exact same symptoms...let me tell you, it juts sucks, so I completely sympathize.

Having to run to the bathroom every single 5, 10, or 15 minutes is just tiring on us, let alone just (sometimes) embarassing if we've got to do it in a social situation. I've learned to move past it and not just care, but I, too, am looking for a way to increase my bladder control.

I had "perfect bladder control" until I was in my senior year and I held it in too long. All of a sudden, I've been having general problems in that lower area along with recurring Urinary Tract Infections. Basically a Urinary Tract Infection, UTI, is when you feel as if though you ALWAYS gotta go.

Even whenever you take a piss, you still feel the urge to go. It's pretty frustrating, and for me, has just been annoying sometimes. I've learned to deal with it, but yesterday, I found a solution...

https://www.herbdoc.com/index.php?op...emid=38&cid=41

Now, I was looking around for a NATURAL supplement for The kidneys/bladder/urethra/etc. that would possibly help, and I came across that. It seems most promising to me as I've tried possibly every single antibiotic to work, but it feels as if though nothing has PERMANENTLY helped - everything has only been temporary.

Also, check this out:

ORME Zeolite - Monatomic Liquid Zeolite Formula – An Activated MonAtomic Liquid Zeolite Formula by Ambaya Gold for Natural Detox. A Safe, Powerful, and Effective formula that energizes and renews while it cleanses your system of heavy metals, toxin

and

Fusion Gold – a Blend of Monatomic Silver, Monatomic Gold, and Monatomic Oxygen

I highly recommend those as they seem most promising to me. I've been trying Colloidal Silver which works, but you need such large quantities of it, that it's just pretty expensive after a while.

These Zeolites stand way above Colloidal Elements and are very promising for the future - I'm getting mine VERY shortly.

-------------------

Nevertheless, make sure that you actually see you doctor. Specifically, your urologist. Tell him what's going on, but ALSO request for a *bladder ultrasound*.

Whenever you walk into the office, Doc is going to have to take a piss in a little cup. About 10 minutes later, Doc will walk in and say, "So what are your symptoms?" Tell him what's happening, but ask him at the very end, "Doc, could I have a Bladder Ultrasound to check to see if my bladder is fully emptying out?" and 95% chance he'll oblige - they SHOULD have an ultrasound system in their office.

An ultrasound is the most important thing in your check up. Your bladder COULD actually be enlarged, compressed, or even infected, or just not emptying properly.

---------

Long story short, there IS something you can do with it, and I'll be there if you need anything else.

What helps for me is to drink slower. Instead of drinking my glass of water in one go, to drink it sip by sip.

Also, if I'm out and I know I cannot easily find a bathroom, I drink other things besides water. Somehow it seems that that stays in my system longer.

I think a great part of this is mental. The idea of "water went in, so water must go out". Because if I'm reading, or really into a movie, it happens a lot less then if I'm semi bored or really worried about it.

But... going to see a doctor to make sure that it isn't physical is always a good idea.

How old are you? If you are say above 30, it's better to see a doctor and maybe also check your sugar levels. (The doctor will suggest it if there is a need.)
