You can lose about 0.5kg per week without losing any muscle. So that's about 2kg per month, or 6kg in 3 months. However, I would highly recommend also changing your diet a bit - 30 minutes of jogging a day won't really help that much with weight loss.

Its better to gain some strenght and lose fat. Combine cardio and weights. At the beginning you will increase your weight a little bit, then after 3-5 weeks you will start going down, but have a nicer looking and stronger body. For pure fat loss, a medium fast walk before eating anything is pure magic. |

Of course you can 'lose the weight'. But what you need to do (unless you're a very muscular woman)- you don't say whether you're male or female) is lose fat. Which means doing resistance training as well as cardio, and eating appropriately, as previous posters have mentioned. Don't focus on your weight- focus on how you look in the mirror. Regards Ed. |
