Buy the hottest, most beautiful outfit not in the size you are, but the size you WANT to be. It's ok if its expensive, just make sure it's your dream outfit / dress. If you want to know if it suits you, you can simply try it on in a larger size when you're at the store, then buy only the size you WISH you were. Now. You have this trendy, fashionable, beautiful piece of clothing in your closet that you would LOVE to show off and wear out. What do you think you will be motivated to do? Exactly Well, just an idea so far.....but it could worK! |

I sorta did this, but entirely unintentionally. I purchased a shirt that fit me perfectly, and I LOVED it - suited me very well. But after washing it, it had shrunk about 1 size, and now it's not that perfect size |

Best way to lose weight is to get crazy stressed to the point that you have no time to eat........ May not be healthy but sure works well. Then when you combine this with working out, since that's the only that can keep someone sane when they are stressed, weight drops. -FountainAtlas |

Yes, my favorite pair of jeans I have are a 32' waist. I can only wear them when I'm fully leaned-out. Any extra fat whatsoever will hang over the sides. I can wear them for about 4 weeks every year. Helps with motivation to want to wear my "thin" pants. In winter I get up to 38' and even 40'+ this year. |

After a divorce thing I went from 260 to 208 in 3 months because I couldn't eat much food at all. Even my fruit smoothie I could only sip at then throw away. Wasn't worth the weight loss! | |

Stress tends to have the opposite effect, especially if you're not getting enough sleep as well. The times I've been really overworked, I didn't have time to exercise, I didn't have time to cook healthy food so would eat some unhealthy take-away or just buy some candy. And at the end of the week, you're all worn out and feel you deserve something good, so you grab lots of ice cream/choclate/snacks/pick-your-poison and stuff yourself.
