Based on my personal experience this is entirely true. Meditation is a tonic, a cure all, a panacea.

Coincidentally, today I made a decision to start meditating daily. I imagine it's an excellent way of dealing with stress. Some of those tibetan monks apparently can reach reach certain brain states that can be measured on MRI scans and the data absolutely blow away psychologists - no one thought such levels were possible. Sorry that's so vague - I don't remember the specifics. I wouldn't be overly enthusiastic about the findings - neural plasticity is a hot topic, but it needs to be tempered a little, in my opinion. It's possible that correlation has been mixed up with causation. Just saying... |

Meditate on the gloomy future when you continue on with the path-- do well in school, get that high paying job to do what others think is important.
