Funny that you mention starting P90X, when I happen to be writing about my experience with the P90X workouts at a site called "My Life Hacks." P90X is one heck of a workout (it is fun and will get you into shape). If you look at the diet guide that came with your DVD's, you will see that there are food recommendations. I recommend eating fish, but you could use a good brand of protein powder if you are a vegetarian. I personally just try to eat as healthy as possible and am not worried about getting extra protein to bulk up. As long as you eat a good healthy diet with fruits, veggies, protein, etc. and have a quality recovery meal/drink, you should be fine. Hopefully you have a good experience with P90X, most of my friends and family members that have done it have had a lot of fun with it! |
