| Unhappy Meals This article is a hefty 12 pages, but its full of interesting facts and good analysis of nutrition, especially the shortcomings of the way foods are reduced to smaller parts (like vitamins and proteins) rather than studied as a whole. The author of the article is Michael Pollan, the author of The Omnivore's Dilemma, which I have not yet read. In the confusing and often contradictory world of nutrition, he really simplifies things. Do you think his insights are correct? (if you are short on time, the last page has some rough guidelines on how to eat that roughly summarize his views) |
