Default Looking for Green Smoothie Recipes

Got any tasty recipes for green smoothies? I'm looking for recipes that use more veggies than fruits.

Chocolate Goji Heaven
2 heaping tablespoons of raw cocoa powder
2 tablespoons of goji berries
1 cup of almond milk (or water)
1 frozen banana (or 1 fresh banana and a half cup of ice )
2 cups of spinach
1 teaspoon of raw vanilla extract(optional)

Tropical Paradise
1 cup of frozen pineapple (or 1 cup of fresh with 1/2 cup of ice)
1 cup of papaya or 1 banana
1 cup of coconut water (from a young thai coconut - if not available use water and a handful of dried raw coconut)
1 tablespoon of raw unprocessed coconut oil
2 cups of green veggies ( I usually use kale or spinach)

Put all ingeredients in blender and blend until smooooooth. I usually chop the green veggies and blend them with the liquids first and add the other ingredients gradually you can always add more liquid if needed.

I dont use recipes but mine are usually one banana, a bigh handful of spinich or kale, some parsely (a small handful) or some cilantro (an even smaller handful) and I use orange juice and water. Sometimes add strawberries or other fruites. Try the parsley and cilantro! You won't be disappointed...

You do not want to be going and buying spirulina, chlorella, barley grass, wheat grass, alfalafa grass and others since that is a lot of work. Yet these greens are much more nutrient dense than other green foods. For example chlorella grows so fast that it doubles its size every 2 days due to the chlorella growth factor. These foods are so nutrient dense that they are called superfoods. Now if you were going to sell it then it is worth all that work and so many companies have done this. See this webpage about greens drinks. They even have all this stuff in a healthy chocolate bar that tastes great.

Now you can make your own clothes but it is better to buy it from people who are experts at making clothes. That is an analogy. Some will say that spirulina is the most nutrient dense superfood since it contains more calcium than milk, more protein than meat or soybeans, more beta-carotene than carrots, more vitamin E than wheat germ, more iron than spinach, more omega-3 fatty acids than fish and more vitamin B-12 than liver.

I love using the green superfood powders... they make green smoothies so easy. I also love that they're all organic and keep for a long time. Amazing Grass products are my favorite - they're so tasty I sprinkle them on popcorn.
