Unhappy Syndrome X - Dysautonomia

Hi

does anyone know of any treatments for this?

my brother in laws niece suffers fainting, dizziness, pains, for last few months.. last night was taken to hospital and stayed in overnight on the proviso that she would be seen by a cardiologist today. That didnt happen (god bless the NHS!) Her mum is a nurse at a different hospital, she works with children in surgery... she was fuming.. and said she will take D to a private doctor if necessary..

D has appointment on 1 March already to have a trace put on her heart. She is slim (not overweight), drinks alcohol at weekends, doesn't smoke.

D is 20, and suffers panic attacks. she has been on medication for these - anti depressants.. She is engaged to be married in aug this yr - and only met her fiance last June.. Maybe the speed of all this is affecting her, mayb its psychological?

In the good old olden days they called this neurasthenia - have been reading up on it. But apparently noone knows what causes it and it usually affects young women..

Any ideas what an effective treatment would be?? We are all worried about her.. thanx guys,

janlee

Hope this helps. Lets the food be his/her medicine from now onward

Syndrome X

Quote:
This deadly heart ailment begins in the bloodstream, shortly after we eat. That's not a startling idea, for we know that eating fatty or cholesterol-laden foods can be bad for our hearts. However, the Syndrome X culprit isn't red meat or butter, it's carbohydrates. Yet these carbohydrates are reluctant, inadvertent offenders.
Good luck

ok, sounds like her nervous system is wearing thin...
the nerves are the pathways to the brain
the brain is the receiver of the mental body on the physical plane

so were dealing with a mental/thought generated malady. Does she worry a lot? Is she always out of the moment (future/past)? Does she know how to relax? Does she ever take vacations or is she moving all the time?

Hi Dharma

Yes, i'd say she does worry a lot, hey - its got to be quite stressful arranging a wedding... and she is on the go all the time.. As for holidays she cant afford that at the moment...

She did ask my sis for a massage (be my sis is feeling ill). However, me and my sis going for reiki and a massage tomoro, and we are going to get D and her mum (who is also v streesed out) a voucher each for a massage. Think that will do them good.

I personally agree with u... I think a lot of maladies start in the mental plane..

thanks

janlee
