I can do 6 one arm pushups with my left arm and 6 with my right arm, but can only do about 20 regular pushups. Shouldn't I be able to do more regular pushups than that?? Usually if someone can do a one-arm pushup, they can also do about 30 regular pushups. Atleast that is the information that I have gathered from various sources. |

Sorry for digging up an older thread, but andrew112 still seems to be active in these forums, so here's what I think: You probably have quite strong triceps and shoulders, but no so strong chest muscles. One arm push-ups seem to about triceps/shoulder strength and balance. Normal push-ups are more about chest strength. |
