Hi Janlee,

I heve a few ideas that can reduce snoring but if it is chronic then medcal intervention might be needed.

- Not drinking alcohol in the evening can decrease snoring.
- If the nose is blocked than a menthol inhalation can help to ease breathing before sleep and therefore reduce snoring.
- It is important to have the right sort of pillow. The "right" pillow will be different for each person but there are ergonomical pillows for example which support the head and neck better and mean that your air passage is in a straighter position which also eases breathing.
- Being over weight can also be a big factor in how much or how loud someone snores.

- A doctor can check if you have polyps in your nose which can cause dificulties with breathing through your nose. These can be dealt with medically.

I hope some of those ideas help.
