Default Is chewing gum dangerous?

I was watching document about Aspartame yesterday.

Then I found this thread here on forum about aspartame and I realized thatn chewing gum also contains aspartame.

I am not sure if aspartame is dangerous or not if it is that it could do real harm.

Is there something I can use instead of chewing gum ? (Except brushing teeth I already know that )

PS: I found natural chewing gum called Glee Gum. It doesn't have aspartame.

Unless the chewing gum is plain, unflavored, and bland, then yes--chewing gum is dangerous.

They used to make many chewing gums with the sweetener xylitol. But the problem is that healthy people are bad for the economy. Look up xylitol. It is healthy for you but bad for the financial health of dentists. This natural sweetener prevents cavities. Find a chewing gum with xylitol.

Healthy Benefits of Xylitol says "The Harvard School of Dental Medicine considers Xylitol as the safer sweetener after more than 1,500 scientific studies in individuals, which stopped their sugar cravings after substituting sugar with this sweetener. Participants also reduced their insulin levels, and alkalinized their bodies."

"Chewing Xylitol gum on a regular basis, not only prevents tooth decay as it was told, but also reduces the growth of dental plaque and mutans streptococci, which are associated with dental caries." Caries is the technical name for cavities.

You get it around here, I think things are worse in the USA... I didn't know xylitol was good, I thought it was just another crazy chemical!

You know in Japan they regularly sweeten industrial products with stevia? When will they do that here I wonder........

It is dangerous to others if you run out of it.
