I've been avoiding drinking alcohol, coke and coffee for the last few months. Yesterday I had a pizza, coke and a sorbet which had vodka in it. I also drunk two glasses of sparkling water. This night I woke up with a strange sensation on my throat. I had to drink and rinse my throat multiple times become it felt weird to just swallow. I think this could be related especially to coke. Anyone has ever experienced something similar? |

Yes, I had a bad taste in my mouth and I had to continually swallow. Initially it felt like sore throat and I was swallowing every 3 seconds. It didn't hurt, it was just.. furry. Then I woke up 3 minutes, drunk again and then returned to bed, and felt better. |

Perhaps you had acid reflux from eating and drinking so much garbage (pizza can be healthy yes, but it depends on the quality of the ingredients). The acid can leave a bad taste in your mouth, and also burn your vocal cords and throat leaving them feeling "funny". Or perhaps you were dehydrated from the alcohol. Sparkling water does little to hydrate and the caffeine from coke does a good job of purging excess water from your system. |

Did you know that Coke has cocaine in it? The company that supplies it for medicine also supplies the Coca Cola company with it after taking out the active substance in it. Also the phosphoric acid in Coke is used as a degreaser. In a pinch (this is jargon for where you do not have the actual degreaser) people use the Coke drink to degrease something.

also, the second statement that i quoted doesn't quite make sense to me, like grammatically. what company supplies cocaine for medicine? pharmaceutical-grade amphetamine is not the same as cocaine, even though it is the same class of drugs. but there's not any pharmaceutical stimulants in that drink anyway, just caffeine.

A month ago it was there-- a whole chapter about that company. But now there is no mention of it. I guess that is the disadvantage of the internet. If you put something in a book, it cannot be magically changed. But anything on the internet can be changed in a moment and then it never ever existed before. John Hopkins U created the Brassica company and got broccoli sprouts patented for being extra high in sulforophane. I took a word for word quote out of it about them saying that it can fight cancer. I put on my website the exact quote from there plus a link to the website that was in. But now it is gone. It could have been the FDA that told them to remove it. I saw on a site that said that Coca-Cola put in caffeine when they took out the cocaine. This is incorrect. It was called Coca-Cola since it had in it the coca plant that contains cocaine and the kola nut that contains caffeine.
