I think you guys will find this to be quite ground breaking (pun not intended). It's a video by David Wolfe explaining the science behind why its of great benefit to your health to be barefoot on the bare earth: Barefoot Technology Exposed | Longevity Now Program News |

David Wolfe says that wearing shoes is the worst thing you can do. But he does want to sell his mat to people to remedy this. Dr Oz (Oprah's Winfrey's doctor) says that the South lost the war since they would walk around without shoes. Doing that caused them to get parasites that made them weak. SHOE4AFRICA wants you to donate your shoes to them so they will not get the parasites they get when walking around in bare feet. Here is what I do. I had read that walking on a carpet all day builds up static electricity in the body and that is bad for the body. That should not happen with wood floors unless the wood is coated with something that would do that. I have carpeting and like it better than a wood floor. So what I do is I walk outside in my bear feet for minutes on the stones outside of my house to discharge a build up of static electricity. This was suggested by someone that was not trying to sell anything. Now according to David's video anyone that does not walk around in bare feet and wears shoes is totally screwed up since it is the worst thing you can do. That means that it is worse than eating all this cake and getting up to 600 pounds. Now I think that the expression in England (Great Britain) is "Come off it!" Is that correct you Brits out there? I bet that the mat that he is trying to sell (it plugs into the wall) is not selling for $5 or $10. I bet that is sells for a lot more than than that. Last edited by ginkgo; 11-20-2009 at 10:18 PM. |

Ok so someone who says that vitamins are good for you, and owns a vitamin suppliment shop must surely be trying to decieve you for your money? David Wolfe did not invent this idea, infact its in the ancient yogic teachings that by walking barefoot, you absorb prana (or life force energy) from the earth. It's also in the teachings of HRM with his sungazing method. David Wolfe just explains the science of it in terms of free electrons, deoxidizing, etc, through his scientific research. I can assure you David Wolfe is not some cheap scam-artist. Infact he does have quite a good reputation. |
