This may be an obvious one (e.g. "The sky is blue!") but taking a multi-vitamin certainly can help with energy levels. Most people do not have a diverse enough diet to get all of the nutrients needed for daily efficiency. |

Hello, Dan. The following link describes a very effective way to quickly increase your energy levels along with diagrams. It works wonders when you're tired or feeling a bit off: Increase your energy levels in 1 minute. I hope you find it as useful as much as I do. |

Like others have stated... 1. Exercise, weights (olympic style weightlifting) couple with some form of cardio (sprinting or jogging). 2. Clean up your diet and find foods that agree with you. Ie, with some people diary products destroy them. 3. Learn effective sstress management techniques 4. Sleep 5. Enjoy life |

Besides the other great advice everyone else is giving you, I also found waking up at the same time every day (weekends, included) to be a great way for me to find consistant energy. And doing a bit of excersize at the beginning of hte day helps me to get lots of motivation and momentum going for the rest of hte day.

Hey I personally find that taking a 20 minute nap every time you are even the slightest bit tired is killer. Sometimes I will get in this bad zone where I am tired and I am sitting on my computer just zoning out and I end up wasting hours at a time. Now I try to take naps to avoid feeling tired like that. Good luck Erock |

I got an email from one of the newsletters that I'm signed up with and it was promoting this product which I've personally never tried but just thought you might wanna check it out at Incredible Health Now! Like I said, I've never tried it so you'll have to go with your judgement, but hey, maybe its worth something?

Don't forget your 64 ounces of water every day. I'm surprised no one else caught that one yet! PapaBruno, you recommend no wheat products at all? That's interesting, I haven't heard that before--what are you getting that from? I agree with you and songwriter that optimism and fun in life can increase energy level. For me, when I stopped doing primarily boring things and started doing primarily interesting and meaningful things, it made a bigger impact on my energy level that any other change I've ever made. I'd read Mind Boosters. It has loads of useful info on supplements that increase energy and other things, such as mental focus.

Eating bigger meal in the middle of the day is a great way to pamper your body and increase energy is to get in the habit of eating your bigger meal in the middle of the day. Your digestion is much more active during the day, allowing your body to use food for energy more effectively. At night, the body naturally begins to slow down and it is harder to digest.

hehehe, I just noticed the poster above me gave the opposite advice. Are all you familiar with the 4'oclock 'blues' where your energy drains? Most people go for a coffee break at that time. Now consider why this happens....you eat your main meal in the 'middle of the day' which zaps your energy for two reasons: (a) your insulin rises, then falls & (b) your body diverts energy towards digestion. |
