Default H1N1 vaccine ready for kids

The best way to make money is to make a product and get lots of people to buy it. So the H1N1 vaccine is ready for you to buy. On a college paper, they had some college students get this flu and they said that it was milder than the seasonal flu.

The first available H1N1 vaccines will be in the nasal spray form with some live virus. In addition, some of the other H1N1 vaccines (the injectable ones) will contain thimerosal – the controversial preservative that contains mercury, which some believe may be linked with autism risk.

Guillain-Barre syndrome – a paralyzing brain disorder. According to The Daily Mail, a recent letter sent from the UK's Health Protection Agency to hundreds of neurologists warned the doctors to be watchful for GBS symptoms in patients who receive the H1N1 vaccine.

While weighing these unknowable areas of vaccine risk, parents might be influenced by the news that about 45 children have already died from H1N1 complications.

According to a September issue of the CDC's Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report, about two-thirds of the children who died had at least one high-risk medical condition. And in this group, nearly all had neurodevelopmental conditions such as cerebral palsy.

Default CDC Fails to Put 1 and 1 Together on Swine Flu Deaths

According to the CDC’s statistics, the H1N1 flu has killed 36 children in U.S. Of those, almost two-thirds had either epilepsy, cerebral palsy, or some other neurodevelopmental condition like mental retardation.

What do all of these conditions have in common? They are all associated with childhood vitamin D deficiency, according to the founder of the Vitamin D Council, Dr. John Cannell. Vitamin D deficiencies could also have made these children far more susceptible to complications from the swine flu.

Unfortunately, Dr. Cannell has been unable to get anyone in authority at the CDC to investigate the potential use of vitamin D in preventing a flu epidemic.

Wintertime deficiencies of vitamin D, due to lack of strong sunlight, have been implicated in the seasonal increase in colds and flu, and previous studies have suggested an association between low blood levels of vitamin D and a higher risk of respiratory infections.

Don't keep your head in the sand like the folks at the CDC.
Supplement with vitamin D now - 2,000 to 5,000IU per day - to prevent swine flu.

Whatever you do, make sure you're fully informed about the swine flu vaccine before you decide one way or the other to get one. The CDC and medical community is not going to tell you everything you need to know to make a wise decision.

Thanks a lot. Nine reasons not to get the flu vaccine beats what I have. Also it is by Joseph Mercola, M.D. Yes that is the latest information. Many people are getting too little vitamin D. Besides building strong bones and helping you sleep better, Vitamin D is great for your immune system in preventing colds, flu and cancer. Sunlight is part of the connection of colds and cold weather.

Also it is an especially strong factor in prostate cancer. Here is something from my article on sunlight: "According to the 500 page college textbook, Human Biology by Sylvia S Mader (1995) prostate cancer is very different than the other types of cancer. It says about prostate cancer "The disease is most common in northwestern Europe and North America. It is rare in the Near East, Africa, Central America, and South America. For reasons not currently known, African Americans have the highest incidence rate in the world."

Are you wondering why this is since it may affect you. It is because black skinned people need 4 times the sunlight as white skinned people to get the same amount of vitamin D. The prostate gland thrives on vitamin D from sunlight. In a magazine they wanted to see if there were certain things affecting prostate problems like pollution in certain parts of the country.

So they gave different colors to different percentages of people with these problems and then applied those colors to a map of the U.S. They found the color with the highest amount of problems went across the most northern part of the U.S. Then as they went further south the percentage of people with prostate problems became lower and lower. So they determined that this was due to the unique vitamin D from the sun."

ginkgo, thanks for posting this. i don't think people realize how the benefits and risks balance out with this stuff.

i think the mainstream news is part of the reason this issue has gotten so out of hand.

again, thank you for providing some facts on this.

Default More benefiits of vitamin D

A 3-year study conducted at the Creighton University School of Medicine in Nebraska has revealed that supplementing with vitamin D and calcium can reduce your risk of cancer by an astonishing 77 percent!!! This includes breast cancer, colon cancer, skin cancer and other forms of cancer.

They didn't even use megadoses — only 1100IU per day of vitamin D and 1500mg of calcium.

This research provides strong evidence that vitamin D is the single most effective medicine against cancer, far outpacing the benefits of any cancer drug known to modern science.

Ask yourself: Why isn't the CDC promoting this like crazy? Oh yeah... they can't patent vitamin D!

That article with 9 reasons not to use the flu vaccine is great. Also it is by an MD. Also many wonder about what our ancestors did to make themselves healthy.

I guess you know that people in Africa do not need to take vitamin D. They get plenty of it from the sun. Near the equator there are not 4 seasons. There are 2 seasons-- wet and dry. Humans have been on the planet for 3 million years but only left Africa 200,000 years ago. So that means that all humans lived in Africa for the first 2,800,000 years.

Of all 50 states, what state of the U.S. is closest to the equator? Hawaii. They also have the longest living people of all 50 states.

It is insane! Do you remember that the first news about it was that the Spanish Flu that killed millions was also H1N1 so this one may also kill millions of people! They said that this flu is a pandemic. ": occurring over a wide geographic area and affecting an exceptionally high proportion of the population." Note that this is the definition of the seasonal flu or common cold every year. The common cold is very common so it is a pandemic!

According to this definition, being overweight is a pandemic. Starvation is a pandemic. Also affluenza is a pandemic (combination of affluent and influenza). affluenza, n. a painful, contagious, socially transmitted condition of overload, debt, anxiety and waste resulting from the dogged pursuit of more.

yes it is quite crazy.
if someone did enough research, i bet it would show that most people who are pro-h1n1 vaccine are also followers of mainstream news.

and i would be that you and stanmrak get your news from other sources, or at least check into the story instead of blindly accepting it.

what i find even more disconcerting is how easily mass amounts of people can be controlled. that is crazy...

That is a very fascinating point. Africans in Africa rarely get it, yet it has a high occurrence among African Americans.

From my personal experience, there are many diseases which occur in high rates in the west that rarely occur in Africa or other developing countries, that in fact the people there refer to them as "western diseases". Researchers could gain a lot by trying to figure out what's going on, instead of loading people up with more medicines.

I explained that it was a mystery to them but not to me. Blacks need 4 times the exposure to sunlight as a white person to get the same amount of vitamin D from the sunlight. Then I explained that prostate problems become more rare in the U.S. the further south you go down.

But yes the industrialized countries have a lot higher rate of the heart attacks, cancer and strokes.

wouldn't the research efforts point to environmental differences? excessive radioactive waves from communications devices, additives in food, etc.?

oh wait... there is a lot of money to be made with those corner-cutting methods... still, you'd think people would be less willing to accept them, hm?

or maybe it is about the restorative power of nature. i wonder if existing in a way that is less 'off the land' increases the potential for the physical form to be more prone to decay. (my own opinion is that synthetic things are generally not very good for the bodies, but living in America - and not joining a commune - i am still unsure of how i could remove all synthetic objects from my life.)

A lot of money yes. Plus many people seem to not want to think for themselves, just accept what the "experts" tell you is good for you. Some of my friends are rushing to get their kids this vaccine, if I ask them to tell me why h1n1 is different than any other flu, they can't tell me. But they'll vaccinate because somebody said so on TV.

Really hard in this day and age. You can move to some remote part of the world, but something will still get you due to industrialization....but at least you can minimize damage.

I've never had a flu shot, nor the flu. My daughter the same and I don't plan to start vaccinating her for it either. She has been vaccinated for other things but I did so on my terms and at my intervals. I had a Dr. try to give her to tetanus shots in a 4 week time. Even the CDC recommended longer. I told them NO I will bring her back for it when more time has passed. I had considered not vaccinating at all because yes there are side effects and risks with any injected vaccine. Why? Because her 6 months shots left her well past the 5 days later with unexplained fever out of nowhere. No cold symptoms nothing. chest x ray was clear of any infections. But her reaction scared the heck outta me.

M best friends 7 year old got it he was the first confirmed case in her county. He has asthma and horrible immune system(catches EVERYTHING) and did just fine with rest and fluids. He recovered completely no issues.
