Default I think I found the cause of my bags & dark circles under my eyes

So I went on vacation to another country recently, and I barely had bags/dark circles under my eyes. I did not sleep very regularly. In fact my sleep schedule needed to change often because around once a week I had to wake up real early. I was usually waking up around 8-9, and often, I would be woken up and then fall back to sleep before that, usually a few times when it happened. That's something that usually makes my dark circles a lot worse, but for some reason it didnt. I usually did not go to sleep much later than 12, but even when I did, the next morning I would wake up fine.

So I tried that when I got back, I was going to sleep at 12 or earlier, and waking up around 8-9, did kinda help me when I got back.

I ate a lot more unhealthier on the vacation so it wasnt diet. I even got 2 cavities while I was gone (well not too sure about when I got them but it probably was, cuz I ate a lot more sweets than I usually do and I didnt have a chance to brush my teeth as much)

Anyway, with all those potential causes out of the way, I'm pretty sure it's computer usage. Specifically computer usage too. There was maybe 3-5 days where I used my iPod for about 5 hrs with no breaks, and I watched more TV than ever when I was on vacation, I would watch about 2-3 hrs a day, usually at night too before I went to sleep. Now that I came back I try not to use the computer too much, but I usually use it at least 5 hours a day. I mean I work on music on the computer so it's hard to avoid it. I'm sure being in dark studios for long periods of time is not good either. But anyway what can I do? I guess I should take more breaks for my eyes. Maybe I need more extended breaks, cuz I'm pretty good at not staring at the screen too much in general.

The only other thing is I was moving around more when I was on vacation. It wasnt that much more than usual, but I would say I was standing more than I do back home.

this may not pertain to you at all, but i have heard wheat allergies are a big culprit with dark circles.

Oh yeah I was thinking about that. But it's not really allergy season right now, I havent been getting em, and when I get em I can notice em, headaches and stuffy nose. And when I do get them, my bags dont usually get much worse.

Unless my dust allergy could have something to do with it, cuz I lived all my life in a house with full carpets and a lot of dust and dust mites and all that. I never really notice the effects of the dust allergy, I think it just gives me a slightly runny nose every once in a while, not as bad as pollen.

Another thing I realized it could be is weed. Cuz I was drinking but I wasnt smoking enough weed to get me high, and at home I usually get high at night. And I know THC makes your body work harder when you're sleeping, and increases the pressure/blood flow near your eyes. But even on days when I dont, I still get bags.

Another thing could be the way I sleep. At home I sleep with a pillow under my knees for my back, but when I was on vacation I never did that. But it doesnt prop my legs up higher than my head, so its not like it should make a big difference.

Maybe more exercise would help? Or maybe more sun?

Stop smoking weed for a week or two, see if they go away.
A friend of mine has school pictures last year of dark baggy eyes from when he use to smoke during the school year.

Yeah I'm stopping for about a week, I have to anyway. It's been 2 days so far. I kinda hope it's not the cause lol. But I need to slow down anyway, so maybe it's a good thing.
