Default Take Shape For Life

Anyone heard of this program? A friend of mine is on it and has already lost 13lbs in a week or so. (I'm waiting for weeks 2, 3, and beyond to know if it was just water weight that he lost). Though, he introduced me to a guy who lost 98lbs using this system. Has anyone else heard of this? Thoughts on what you see / hear?

Looks like a MLM program selling "healthy" meals. Not my cup of tea. Personally, I avoid people who claim to improve your life - the only hitch? You have to BUY their product.

Weight loss diets/programs are never the problem and are therefore not the solution. They most always work and have some basis of credibility. The problem with being overweight/unhealthy is about the INDIVIDUAL.

Is your friend exercising at all?

I imagine if your friend lost 13lbs in a week that may be water weight.

Remember losing weight should be a lifestyle change and not just a temporary thing.

I agree with both of you. After talking with him a bit it seems that the MLM part of it has to do with being a mentor. I'd disregard it but... The one guy did lose 98lbs in less than 6 months... Anyone else have experience with this program?

If you want to get into shape, just eat right, and exercise. 98 pounds lost in 6 months is a decent amount, but not some crazy number, thats less than 4 pounds a week, a more average number would be 2 pounds a week. Most likely the first 20 pounds of that was water weight from losing excess salts.
