Question Loud buzzing in head

I am concerned about a loud buzzing in my head. I have been taking anti-anxiety medications for social anxiety for a period of time and I've read that withdrawal could cause buzzing in the head. Since I continue to take 2 ml. of Ativan almost every day, I'm not going through withdrawal. I have Multiple Sclerosis, so other things might be going on. Recently I went to my neurologist to tell him I had this buzzing problem. He ordered blood work and put me on a med. called Risperidone. The neurologist did not say to stop taking the Ativan. The Risperidone seems to help with anxiety also.

This is my first time in this forum, and I would appreciate any feedback.

Default Loud Buzzing

My blood pressure has always been normal. No, I've haven't read the Mcdougal book about MS. I heard about it though. The author believes that a change of diet could be beneficial. I've been taking anti anxiety meds for a while now, on and off. If I taper off Ativan, maybe the head buzzing would go away. I don't really know if my problem is from ativan. Does anyone in this forum have this problem?

It is called tinnitus. Tinnitus - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Millions of people have it. "Over 260 medications have been reported to cause Tinnitus as a side effect[30]." How many herbs cause it? None. Medications are drugs! I am an herbalist.

There is even a great deal of info on it outside of medicine. Deaf people can have it. When hearing is normal, you cannot hear the soundless sound or anahat nadam or unstruck music etc. Dead people can also hear it.

Ear problems are very common. I have a vegan friend and whenever he ate dairy, he would have ear problems. People who have never been born or conceived can hear it. The sound cannot be described so if you do a search for buzzing in ears, ringing is ears, the sound of bells in ears, the sound of waterfalls, the sound of bees and like I said the unstruck sounds and all these English translations of Indian words. If you put a shell up to your ear you can hear sounds. The one thing that is for sure is that these sounds do not exist in the physical world.
