Default The Vegetarian Myth will stir up a lot of controversy

It's author, an ex-20 year vegan, will make a lot of money with it. There are 2 historical figures that this thread is about. The people that agree with this book are going with the historical figure of Weston Price.

But I will choose the historical figure of Arnold Eckhart. He is the father of Naturopathy. His fasting center in Switzerland cured some (not all) cases of blindness and deafness with fasting. He could speak German, French, Italian and English.

Weston Price killed his son out of stupidity! He gave him a root canal and it got infected and that killed him. There were no antibiotics at that time. But actually it was the foods that he ate while infected that killed him. He then became an opponent of root canals.

What did he eat? I have no idea. But if he would have fasted during the infection, the infection and the dead tissue feeding the infection would have been consumed by the body. But Price did not know this. He never learned about Arnold Ehret and his results with fasting from around 1900.

I am also against root canals. I had a bad infection from a root canal and my face was swollen. The drug the dentist gave me was not working so he gave me a stronger one. But it was giving me bad headaches so i stopped using it. I did not want my dentist to get in trouble if I died. So I sent him a signed letter saying that he had warned me that the infection could enter my brain and kill me, but I chose to go against his advice so if I die then it is not his fault.

I called a fasting expert for consultation. He was a chiropractor and expert in Natural Hygiene and had been on a raw vegan diet for 40 years. After a few days of fasting. my infection was totally gone.

That is amazing. But I would need to read it again to understand what does it have to do with the vegetarian myth.
