Hi guys! I love one hundred push ups (and its new sister sites), but they have only plans for pushups, situps and squats(it's for people who don't want to go to gym). But I want to do weight training too. It would be cool if it had exercise plans for all muscle groups and for weight-training too. Maybe there is some book or website which includes such comprehensive and clear exercise routines, and also other essential information about nutrition, muscle growth, etc? structured in a nice way? And I DON'T want to loose weight, I want to GAIN muscle. I found tons of articles about exercising, but after reading many of them, I still have very vague understanding of this stuff and have no idea what exercise routine should I choose... Thanks in advance for any input.. |

Anthony Ellis has great stuff... How to gain weight and build muscle It boils down to lifting very heavy weights and consuming A LOT of good food. If you have the time and determination, it is within your grasp. |

You should check out RossTraining - Bridging The Gap Between Ordinary and Extraordinary I've been doing his program for three months now and I've definitely gained muscle. I was looking for an interesting workout that's different everyday. He trains a lot of fighters but his techniques can be used by anyone looking to gain strength. He uses a lot of dumbbells, pull-ups, and body weight exercises. Just watch some of his demo videos and I think you'll be impressed. |

Hi there, flyer. I've checked out most of the resources that the other's have posted...I'm kind of a health and fitness nut. I love Ross Training, Anthony Ellis's guide, Mark's Daily Apple, etc. In addition to the above resources, check out P90X. You can get in great shape doing the program. Of course, you have to put in the work! Last edited by gurusnackie; 09-09-2009 at 08:56 PM. Reason: fixed link |
