I got the core synergistics workout and love it. You might want to check out the ChaLEAN workouts as well, I heard in a couple DVD's she really pushes you to lift heavy.

I just ran into a woman at my gym who was wearing a bikini and she looked incredible. Toned, strong, happy, yummy, and glowing. She told me she used the P90x system and loved it -- that's enough for me. I'm going to try it.

P90x is a great workout. But it is mostly for toning/cutting/getting in shape.

In order to bulk on P90x you'd have to modify it a lot. Switch out push-ups for Heavy Bench Press. Reduce the cardio sessions and eat alot more then what the diet guide recommends.

I also do P90X. I think, it's a great stuff, particularly if you combine it with some other sports activity.

I completed the p90x classic routine not too long ago. As already mentioned, this probably isn't what you're looking for if you want to gain bulk. I know the success stories claim otherwise, but for the majority of people, it will mostly just get you toned.

I was also hoping to gain some bulk but I only gained about 5lbs. Despite that however, I would still recommend it. Got me in the best shape I've ever been and taught me how to really get the most out of a workout routine.

I'm now starting to use heavier weights with the bench and barbell (things you don't use in p90x), so I'm starting to gain bulk again. But the videos did help me by getting me in the habit of maintaining high intensity throughout workouts.

Btw, the plyometrics and ab ripper x discs are super hard and are the two discs that I will continue using for a very long time. I would recommend those to anyone looking to get in great shape.

I understand you want to bulk up but, what makes you want to do it with the P90X program? I might suggest something more fit to your needs if you want.
