| I wonder what the metrics are for the rapid stabilization and how achievable that actually is given the various factors (political, change management, available technology, money/power corruption etc.) that all play a factor into reducing such gases. |

| I doubt the threat is that imminent, because I learned from Freakonomics that people tend to exaggerate statistics when they are fighting for a cause. What I don't understand though, is why many people (especially conservatives) just choose to ignore global warming, even calling it a non-issue. Even if global warming was a complete hoax, becoming more environmentally conscious is not going to hurt anyone. Better to be safe then sorry. Erock
