Default A cartoon takes a alternate look at sleep

I thought this was cute

I personally think this way about sleep and it's really nice to see someone articulate so clearly, just how weird sleep really is.
Strangely enough (and with no help from me), my toddler seems to have reached the same conclusion.... Namely that she hates sleep because it takes time away from playing and exploring.
We both still need to sleep though

This reminds me of a Star Trek: The Next Generation episode where Q became human. At one point when Picard goes to see him in the brig, a very alarmed Q says: "I felt weak. I couldn't stand. The life was oozing out of my body. I lost consciousness." Picard replies: "You fell asleep!"
