I have never seen this mentioned anywhere-- false thirst that goes away and true thirst that persists. Are you the originater of it? There is enough for a new faster to be concerned with, without adding this to it.

As far as what drinking urine has to do with dry fasting, I was impugning the source you gave on the dry fasting. For example say that someone is quoted as saying fasting is healthy. But then he also says that aliens are sending out brain waves so we need to wear tin foil on our head. That can be used to say that the source is a crazy source and so what he says about fasting is crazy. I have read a lot of stuff on cure zone and some of it is kind of crazy. One time I drank a cup of ocean water since it has every mineral in it including gold. But I have never drank a cup of urine or a cup of beer.

Default Looking for fasting support

I was just crusing the web for fasting support and found this site. I have MS and have chosen alternative medicine as the mode of ongoing healing. Tried the interferon shots and that was worst than the MS symptoms. I have found fasting very helpful; keeps the MS symptoms minimal or none. I water fast 5 days a month and need to fast longer once a year. So for 13 days is my longest. I have been led by my alternative doc to do 21 days ...sure is tough when I am a mom of 4 and preparing meals for them and my husband.

I love life and want to live each day optimally. I love God and feel called to share my faith in liturgical dance. He calls me to dance in churches, retreats, conferences, small groups, community celebrations...I want to be well enough to keep doing this...

I love my husband and children. I love my parents and have resolved problems of the past with them. Have yorkshire terriers and currently have a litter of 6 week old puppies.

OK
that's me

Here is a webpage about helping MS. It is one of those diseases where the healthier that you are, the less it affects you.

Ginko, did you have to work at all during your fast? I just started my fast today and my goal is to make it to true hunger. I have a juob that I will be working at during the fast and I'm curious as to what type of obstacles this could pose.

Hi Pradeep and Ayeshaluv, welcome to the forum This is a very old thread, and Ginkgo isn't participating here anymore, so I'm going to close the thread this point. I'd like to invite you to join in some of the threads on fasting that have more recent updates. There's quite a few of them here.
