Are the headaches migranes that hurt so bad it makes your stomach upset? I am obviously no Dr here. I sometimes get migranes that hurt so bad my stomach is upset and sometimes I even throw up. This is very rare for me but I find if I have been drinking soda too much and not enough water I get headaches. How's your water intake? Just a thought. If you have been having them off and on for a month you should see a Dr. That's way too long to have them. Hope you get better soon. |

| Hi Timothy, Maybe your dehydrated or stress? Can I ask you is it headaches or really migraines. They are not the same thing however I know that migraines can make you sick. I have suffered from migraines since I was I child. I used to get sick and was paralyzed down the right side of my arm. I know what trigger it off, It cold be bad smells, dehydration, stress, depression, missing meals, periods, bright lights, caffeine, alcohol, too much excersise, drugs and even some headache pills can cause migraines too. I used to take medication but they never really worked apart from one drug called zomig. i went for loads of treatment acupuncture (helped a little) homeopathy went to see a neurologist... nothing really helped and the Dr's was a waste of time. However I still think you should go and see a Dr. The first thing is to find out that causes your migraines. This will take some time, however if yours has just started a month ago it should be really easy to find the cause. e.g What changes did you have in your life e.g split from gf, start of a new job, moved home, changed diet.... I don't know anything about your background or life but it sounds like stress to me. Good luck and let us know how you get on |

all of the above info is good and should be useful for you...if it is migraines and you drank a lot of soda...especially with caffeine...you could have been dehydrating yourself which can be one cause of headache onset. if they are migraines, ( i have sufferered most of my life from them also)...they would make you very nauseated at times and also possibly vomit. try keeping a log or diary of when you experience them...and definitely see a doctor. do you get any kind of aura or photo or phono phobia beforehand..some people get this and it is a warning, so if you have medication to take you can fend them off. there are many drugs out there, old and new. i used to use imitrex...oral, nasal and injection depending on how bad...but some of these meds first time need dr supervision as they can cause a rush that feels like it is affecting your heart or breathing...so you need to see how you react. good luck! |

I know I'm not dehydrated, drank tons of water since then. I hate soda, and I've never ate anything with caffeine, so probably isn't that. Probably not migraines, all I'm getting is a headache and wanting to puke, but never did. The stomachache didn't go with the headache, and experienced one last night. I was scared to see a doctor, since they'll robably tell my family and have them visit me, and especially I don't want that is because my mom is a total worry-wart and she'll treat me really weirdly. My relatives are coming home tomorrow for a family reunion, and my really nosy cousin will peek through my stuff, so I can't keep a diary. What's aura or phono-phobia? I don't use drugs, since they make my headache even worse.

OK so you have health issues and won't go to the Dr.....This is a tuff one because I really don't think you can self dianose your problem. It's just pure guess work. However saying that I would say again it sounds like you have an issues with stress, anxiety or at the worse depression. But I am no Dr. If you are that worried about seeing your Dr. you can see another Dr. as a one off. Also it's not a crime to keep a diary, even if it's just a diary of what you eat and drink. Surly you can do that? Now what I am going to say will sound a very harsh but anyway here goes.... Do yourself a favour, grow up and go and see a Dr. Who knows you may drop dead within a month! having headaches and being sick doesn't sound good to me. AND forget about marriage UNTIL you have found a loving relationship. This will get you out of living in paranoia city because until you make the first step to go and see a Dr, that's all you will be doing. Living in paranoia city. Do you want your mental heath to go down the drain??? I m sure your problem can be sorted out pronto if you go to the docs. I am not sorry for what I have said but it sounds like you need a kick up the **** to see a professional. I am only trying to help.

Well then, if you're acting so mean I may add you onto my ignore list. By the way, I've never ever seen a doctor other than when I was 5 when I thought had pneumonia. Step-By-Step Recipes: Posted temporarily for a pavlina member |

i don't think anyone is being mean....we are just trying to help...you would not ask if you were not concerned. hence other posters become concerned and want to help. even if an md was posting, he could not diagnose you via forum...so any advice is just letting you know it could be a number of things and the only way to really find out is to see a physician and contrary to what you think, with the hipaa regulations your rights and your privacy will be enforced. |

Since that is all you want to tell us, see a good doctor and he will ask you questions and then it is up to you to answer honestly or lie to him. It could be lots of things. Do you watch the TV show House about genius doctors that try to figure things out? Since it very likely could be stress, do things to reduce stress like exercise, reading, playing sudoku, doing yoga and other things. The above is great advice even if you did not have stomachaches and headaches. Try to have more fun in life. That is why you are alive. You are not alive to get married. Princess Diana got married. You are alive to enjoy life. Learn to do that. The less stress you have, the happier you will be. The more stress you have, the more miserable you will be. I used to get headaches from drinking a lot of milk but I do not know if you drink a lot of milk or none at all. Regardless of what anyone else says, to say "grow up" is an insult. It is an insulting thing to say to someone which violates the rules of this forum. In Scientology, it is called evaluation and invalidation and it is against their rules since it is bad for mental health. There is a difference between talking about an action and a person. Note that I talked about the action of insulting and did not say anything about the person doing it. Since you do not like doctors, you can learn to diagnose and treat yourself. See Natural Cures to figure out the cause of this. Natural Cures With Food for Health Problems I used to get terrible cramps in my abdomen that were extremely painful once in a while as a child. The doctor would come over and find nothing wrong. Then many years later a massage therapist told me that she would get the same thing. It would happen when I got excited about something good like my birthday. It is caused by the ileocecal valve closing. It is a valve between the large and small intestine. You can put me on your ignore list but this just shows that you only want to hear what you want to hear. This is not a Doctors forum but a Personal Development one for Health & Fitness. I was just pointing you in the right direction. OK you have not seen another Dr. since you were 5 years old...Maybe it's time you should see one. This is ALL I am trying to say. WE ARE NOT DOCTORS Anyway like it or not I am sending you my love. and hugs All the best

It sounds like you have unresolved problems that are causing you discomfort, and that the headaches and stomachaches are symptoms of this. Although I don't know enough about your situation to say anything for certain, I'm guessing that you could find a solution to your problems if you wanted to. The first thing I would probably do if I were in your position, is actually to decide whether I really want to get rid of the negative stress (and therefore the symptoms of it). That may sound like a strange decision to make (maybe you've done so already), but the fact is that many people walk around with the types of problems you describe and complain about them, instead of committing themselves to finding solutions. Once you've decided that you're going to decrease your negative stress, there are lots of options available to you. You could try taking deep breaths and relaxing your muscles. You could try meditating and letting go of your thoughts for a while. You have the option of consulting a doctor as well, or just talking to someone you trust about your problems. Quote:

| Why? What happens if you do not? Will you lose your inheritance? Is it a law of your country? What if you were gay? Would you get a fake wife? The governor of NJ was married to a woman when he resigned and announced that he was gay. Are you in a country where everyone that is over 21 is married?

part of the problem i think here is also when a poster, such as timothy in this case, presents what seems to be a dramatic problem for them. they are offered help, it is blown off and more cryptic statements are made. questions are asked but not answered. if you truly want an answer to a question or advice or guidance on a thread you need to communicate and be a little less defensive.
