I was supposed to start today but someone brought me lunch so I couldn't refuse. I plan to do a 12 day water fast. I'm doing it to lose weight, for mental clarity, and for religious/new age reasons. I also just want to see if I have that kind of will power and I want to save money that would be otherwise be spent on food. After the fast, I plan to eat moderately, mostly vegetables, some white meat, but mostly raw food. During the fast, I plan to go for long walks. After I will do resistance training to boost my metabolism and lose weight in the long run, and I may do some cardio such as swimming to lose weight daily. |

Have you done any fasts before, like 1, 2 or 3 days? I think that you read my posts about my website on fasting and how, on it, an MD says not to fast if you are on drugs since drugs and fasting can have bad interactions.
