what is within grape seed extract?

I am reading a book by Ray Sahelian, Mind Boosters. He is a pretty well respected voice on supplementation. He recommends for the average person with no medical problems:

Vit. E - 20 to 200 i.u. a day of the mixed tocopherols
Vic. C - 100 to 500 mg a day
Selenium - 20 to 100 micrograms most days
NAC (N-Acetyl-Cysteine) - 50 to 100 mg a few times a week
Carotenoids and flavanoids are best obtained through fruits and vegetables

However, this book was written about 10 years ago. Those are also just antioxidant recommendations; there are other supps like methyl donors, amino acids, phospholipids, etc.

Daflon.

Diosmin + Hesperidin combo

But it's more for vein disease and hemorrhoid but it's a high dose of bioflavanoid antioxidants, so just take it.

The only supps I take are cod liver oil, and emergen-c powder. I get all my antioxidants for the most part from food.
