Fast food is easy to make and quite tasty to eat. Everyone from a child to a 60-year-old grandpa seems to be enjoying it every chance they get. Altough everyone likes it but it is very harmful for the health. Fast food has a very high energy density. About 65 percent higher than a typical diet and twice as high as recommended healthy diets which makes us eat more than we otherwise would. Foods with a high energy density confuse the brain's control systems for appetite, which are based solely on portion size. Another fact is that fast food may speed up people's risk of clogged arteries that can lead to heart attacks. |

I don't like it when people love their fast food and are just convinced they are a healthy person because they don't have any direct problems now. I suppose the argument "There's nothing wrong with my diet" wouldn't fly too well on these forums. I suppose some people don't believe a healthy diet is important because they like the taste of temporarily satisfying their hunger with fried chicken more than caring for their nutrition and health.
