Hi! This is my very first post on this forum, so hello everybody! I've been into polyphasic sleep lately - it seems like perfectly suited for my needs. There is, hovewer, one question not mentioned (if I've had searched properly) that's of major importance to me. Is polyphasic sleep suited for sports-intensive lifestyle? During summer, I've got a habit of spending lots of hours on tennis court, so my sleep schedule would be basically nap -- sport -- nap -- sport -- rest (I'm not exercising from morning til night, of course, but I hope you catch the point). Gym sessions are regular points in my week schedule, also. Such habits, obviously, put a strain on the body. It seems, therefore, that sleeping 2-3 hours overall wouldn't give my body needed time to rebuild muscle structure. Does anybody has any experiences with this issue? I appreciate all responses. Cheers, Mike |
