Default My Biphasic Sleep Schedule

Hi all, first post.

I've been reading Steve's blog for about a year now and am particularly interested in changing my sleeping pattern to a biphasic sleep schedule.

The reason?
Well, the reason may be a problem of it's own but it's one I don't feel like dealing with right now. I usually stay up late till around 3-4 AM either working on stuff or playing computer games (more often doing the latter). After staying up late, I usually wake up around 11 AM or even sometimes in the afternoon.

So, I decided to try out biphasic sleep this summer. I started 2 days ago. My progress so far:

Saturday night: Slept 4:30 AM - 9 AM Sunday
Sunday nap: Slept 9:30 PM - 11:00 PM
Sunday night: Slept 5:30 AM - 10 AM Monday
Monday nap: Slept 10:30 PM - 12 AM

And here I am now. Feeling quite tired, to be honest. Anyways, once I get used to this I plan on having the following schedule:
Nap: 9 PM - 10:30 PM
Sleep: 3 AM - 7:30 AM

My question to all of you is does this seem like a viable sleep pattern? I'm not exactly sure about how I should time my evening naps. Also, I recently started doing some weightlifting exercise and I'm wondering, does biphasic sleep hinder recovery time significantly? Thanks in advance!

I just wonder, for Sunday nap, did you wake up at 11:00PM naturally or used an alarm?

I've been using alarms for all my wake up times. But the only time I actually had trouble waking up was after my Monday nap at midnight. Usually I feel fine to just spring up out of bed.
