Default Eating raw and olives and soybeans

I have read that olives and soybeans have a toxin in them when they are raw and fresh. They say that cooking gets rid of the toxin in soybeans, but could you sprout the soybean and get rid of the toxin? Note I am not asking if you think soybeans prevent or cause cancer or if Olive Oyl is a good girlfriend to Popeye. Mercola's site says that research shows that soybeans do both. That can be a whole other thread about the soybean debate and fermenting them.

I heard with the olives, curing and cooking can get rid of the olive's toxin. So do raw vegans eat raw, cured olives? Why does a fruit (olives) have a toxin in it? Can these toxins kill you or just give you an upset stomach? In 30 years will they say that they discovered that these "toxins" are the best known cure for cancer?

Just choose something else.. if it's that debated and confusing, pick other foods. Frankly, I don't believe soy is as beneficial as it is damaging. It's beneficial to those with blood type A and olives are an "avoid" for most blood types, I believe.

There are raw cured olives you can get, though hard to find in stores. Soy most stay away from, though there are some sprouted beans sometimes found. Better beans to consume.
