Red face Reduce weight

I am always slim and nice to feel withing and also look at. However I had a classical c-section last year and also had some complilcations which did not permit me to persue any excercise after the delivery aswell. As a result i am now about 60 kgs.(was 50kgs) my height is 5.6". I also have a bloated tummy.
I feel i am bigger and heavier than i use to be. Also people who see me have infact asked me to watch my weight now, mesning looks like i am still growing bigger. I have simple lifestyle with food that i always cook at home and am quiet concious of what i eat. I dont do any physical excercise at the moment.
I now want to reduce my weight about 10 kgs. and importantly also have flat tummy. I have decided to start with walking for about 3 days a week for 30 mins with immediate effect. I have chosen wed, frid and sundays for that as i want to do it in the morning these days suit me.

however, i am here to ask you people to provide me with valuable tips and insights about how can i achieve my goal of reducing 10 kgs. i want to set a deadline, but before that i want to know some more ways that it can be done, so that i can plan to suit my life situation and then set a achievable target.

P.S i am not willing to do very strenous workouts. i am keen to start family and so dont want to exert myself to any extremeties.

thanks for your help.

For a height of 5.6" I think you have quite normal weight with 60 kgs if you are a woman. If I would be you I'll just try to exercise regularly and try to develop an athletic appearance while eating normally. If you are a man, you are even too slim and should not even think of reducing weight.

That's my personal opinion. If you still want to lose so much weight, I think I know the most effective diet, you'll ever see.

Greetings

You'll find going from no exercise to 3 times a week should make quite a difference, however, you may also find you're getting a little hungrier.

One of the best things to do may be to try and find some resistance/strength exercises you can do in the privacy of your home rather than having to go to a gym. By building up a little bit more muscle, you increase your base metabolism rate which in turn helps you burn more calories while going about your normal day. Even something simple like 10 sit-ups and 10 push-ups every day before you shower willl make a difference.

Still, for weight loss is crucial to make some aerobic activity. Try with jogging regularly every morning or evening.

80% of weight loss comes from the diet you eat, only 20% comes from exercise. Doing your walking is a good start, look into what you are eating. I've lost 25 pounds in the last 5 weeks just changing what I eat, not by dieting.

Your opening post says you recently had a C-section. It is quite normal for your body to change when you get pregnant and give birth... give it time.
Be careful when exercising, consult with your doctor - a C-section is a major surgery after all, and it cuts into your abs. Don't overdo it before you're sure you are fully healed.
You also said you want to concentrate on your family... I'm all for people maintaining a healthy weight, but it looks like you are already there (by medical standards). Also if you are going to have more children (which you imply in your OP if I'm not mistaken) you will be back at the starting point. Would it be unreasonable to concentrate on being healthy for now, and wait until your family is complete to work on the physical appearance?

Finally, you say

It is no one else's business what your weight or figure is. I would not tolerate these kinds of comments from anyone - not my mother, not my partner, not my best friend. The way you look and the decisions you make about your body are yours, only.

That said, if the goal to become slim again is truly yours and is worth it even in light of your C section, your current children and possible future pregnancies, more power to you, and best of luck!
