Over the past month or so I have been on a type of an awakening, Mind-Body-Spirit... I must tell you all, honestly I have not felt this good in years!!!! Which led me for need to change.... Started w/multi-vitamins, (which I am now getting from Whole Foods); adding more Omega 3's, Evening Primrose, and Probiotic supplements... But again, really started the change when I changed what I ate, and what I did NOT put in my system.... Now if I can't pronouce the ingredient, I dont buy it. Honestly I revamping my entire kitchen with wholesome organic foods. And for those who have never tried organic, oh yea, you can surely taste the difference. I have but all eliminated eating out. Not to say, oh I will never eat out again, but I will ensure the majority of whatever goes in my mouth will be organic... Yesterday I actually bought a book The Self Health Revolution, by J. Michael Zenn, and honestly I can't put the book down. Basically it is just reaffirming what I am feeling. That all that crap that they put in our foods from the hormones, to the pestacides and the antibiotics, and Lord knows what else, is what was making me so damn sick & tired.... I highly recommend this book to anyone looking into the what we, as a nation, are eating.... Well, I just wanted to share... Cuz I orginally came her looking awaken my Mind-Body-Soul, and I have. Yes I am still going down that road, and for those who thought like I use to think, changing what we put is our mouth is hard, not so. I am eating better than ever, and the food taste great, and I would never trade how I feel lately to the old me.... Thanks for letting me share... (PS - working on the spiritual aspect has brought me tremendous peace as well.... like I said, I truly believe it is combination of all things....) |

I have a 15 year-old who was not to happy about the healthy food in the house. He used to complain about it all the time. Just the other day he told me that he liked eating healthy food better and that when he went out with friends and ate a pile of junk he felt sick. Imagine that!! Stick with it. Your 10 year-old will get used to it. Like you said, it doesn't really matter because you buy the food. I'm glad you've decided to purchase real healthy organic food. Food is medicine. The food we chose to eat dramatically impacts our health. |

| Many experts day that there is no difference between organic food and conventional food with lots of pesticides in it. "Cide" means to kill, like fungicide and herbicide. This reminds me of the saying "There is a limit to genius, but there is no limit to stupidity." In Russia it is against the law to grow ad sell food that is not organic. |

Thanks.. As for my 10 year old, yesterday he about threw a fit when I did not come home w/his usual Hawain Punch for his lunch box... So I showed him the box that I had from the Hawian Punch, look it's not even made up grapes it made from 10% pear juice and corn syrup.. He looked at me, and said, but I don't even like pears.... So then I bring the box of the 100% Juice I got from Whole Foods, and said, now read this. He looked at me and said, wow, I can actually read all the ingredients... So will you try it, okay... Five minutes later, mama can I please have one more of those juices, they are so good!!! Ah one thing down.... LOL I love what was said about stupidity and genius, that is great!! I also wanted to say thanks. You know when you have something great, and you want to share w/everyone, well I have had a few ney-sayers, ya know, ah that a bunch of bull, or I don't believe that, or don't believe everything you read... And I think to myself, wow, where is the positive feed back, why do some need to be so negative... It ain't like I am telling them to rub it in their face, I am telling them cause I care for them, and I want to see them happy too... so thanks for all the positive feed back... I still can't believe how my skin and hair looks, that is what really blows me away, let alone how I feel!!! Kewlllll... |

Might be easier to mention the supplements I am not taking, just kidding... Seriously Currently I am taking; Whole food Adult Mult for Women Triple Omega 3-6-9 ( Appx 5 per day) CoQ-10 (1 per day) Black Cohosh Extract 160mg/Soy Osofavone 100mg/Isolase 35mg (1 per day) Evening Primrose Oil 1200 (1 per day) Probiotic (2x per day) Enzymes Digestion (Whole foods Brand) (2x per day) Valerin Root (1 at bed time) And yes, making the complete switch. It started when I first went there, they had some hand made soaps, and I immediately felt a difference on my skin. So just this week, changed up my body soap, hair shampoo/Conditioner, and lip stick (got try and look my best...LOL) As for the comment that I may also just be feeling good bcz of my decision to go healthy. I am sure the mind plays a huge role in this, no doubt. Just today I have had ppl tell me ah, that's just the placebo effect, it will surely past. And yes, that got my ole head going, oh what if this don't last, thought, after thought, after thought. It is almost ironic how we tend to hold on to the negative so easily.... But I also know that what eat does play a huge role in how we feel, what we put in our body as to clearly affect us both physcially and mentally. Seriously, if we are drained and fatigued, and sick all the time, that surely ain't going to help the mind at all. Also if it was all just a mental thing, eating healthy, then why does everyone that does swear by it. Tell Jack Lalan (opps sp), it is all in his head, and so what if it is, I want to be like him when I am 90.... And finally, positive feedback is always the best policy, regardless. It is apparent that we are all on this site to find a better way, to improve how we live our daily lives, and to improve those lives around us. Is this going to be easy, naaa, I am sure I will have my ups and downs, I will have the days when I so call fall of the wagon, but so far my up days outweight any up days that I have for a long, long time.... I am full of energy, and I am full of life, even after a really rotten day at work, and a very stressfull job interview. I made it thru day, thru my ups and my downs of the day, and don't feel like horse that has been road hard and put up wet... (horsey thing, you always walk your horse out after you ride them, esp if they sweaty, or they can colic....) little horsey humor that's all...

| As far as stupidity and genius, I asked on a forum why they put mercury (a poison) in vaccines. A nurse said that you can get flu vaccine without mercury. Now that is like having on a menu Salad and Salad without roaches in it. Again why do they have roaches in the salad? Well you can get the salad without roaches. |

which really does start in & is recreated by your mind, God created for you! In fact, your mind changes your genetic structure & functions daily, as well as much else you know how to task your mind with. How kewl is that!
