Lightbulb Bi/polyphasic sleeping help

A few of my friends and I (hooray for proper grammar) are going to possibly try a polyphasic or biphasic sleeping schedule this summer. We are 15 years old. I'm doing a little research on this and want to know the risks, especially if we're prone to anything, being as young as we are, having our whole lives ahead of us...unlike the rest of ya'll. . Also, what sleeping schedule have any of you personally tried (how long/when) and how has it worked? I personally want to do a biphasic schedule...and my friends want to do the Uberman schedule (30 minutes of sleep every 4 hours).

Indeed, hooray for proper grammar.

I don't know if it will be different for you, being quite young, but I have tried Uberman and biphasic.

I did 20x6, but never succeeded. The first time, I got sick a while after the attempt – might be connected. I wasn't living very healthy back then, though.

Biphasic went better, but I didn't stick with it for long. I wanted to do polyphasic. I don't think that will be a problem for you.

For polyphasic, I advice you to take care. If you start feeling unwell (other than the obvious tiredness), consider quitting!

Default biphasic

I'm Currently doing biphasic sleeping and it is going quite well. I would recommend reading the entire thread below. I'm 29 and was searching for health concerns too. I wasn't able to find anything. Basically what I heard and what was posted above was to simply listen to your body. If your body starts telling you you need more sleep or that you are getting sick... best to stop/pause.

Switching to Biphasic Sleeping? Start here.

Additionally, you can read about my progress at my link below.

Will be interested to hear your results as I haven't really considered trying poly.
