popular Hydroxycut-brand diet supplement linked to liver damage, other problems, or in some cases death.

Just posting this in case anyone here uses this brand (full list of products on link)

I do not believe in taking this kind of supplement. I advise people not to take it but I say the same thing about drinking alcohol, smoking or even drinking a lot of cofffee. But by the numbers, Hydroxycut has killed one person. Alcohol has not only killed a lot more than that by people who take it, but it also killed many innocent people including children. Why not make that illegal? Actually it is illegal for 18 year olds who can vote and fight in wars.

But when it comes to medications, they all kill many more than one person. For example, aspirin kills over 1,000 Americans a year. If I had to give my children vaccines or Hydroxycut, I would choose the latter since their chance of dying of Hydroxycut is lower than them becoming mentally challenged from a vaccine.

I bet they would have pulled Hydroxycut right away if it had mercury in it. Vaccines have mercury in them. I bet you heard that ephreda was pulled, but then they unpulled it.

Some vaccines contained Thimerasol which had some mercury in it. That is no longer the case.

If mercury is the cause of autism, we also need to ban kids eating fish, getting fillings at the dentist, or living in a world with coal power plants -- all good sources of mercury.

The probability of a child getting autism *from* vaccines is unknown and unproven. We really don't know what causes autism.

The probability of a child NOT getting polio, smallpox, mumps, measles, rubella, or whooping cough approach 100% when vaccinated. Those diseases absolutely do kill or cripple people. Most of us here are too young to know someone who was crippled for life from polio or an infant who died from a (preventable) infectious disease.

In fact, its safety is supported by a variety of animal studies, in vitro experimental studies, and multiple human clinical trials.
