I love pomegranate juice, too, but I just switched brands from POM to Naked. I heard that POM tests its juice on animals! At first I couldn’t believe it, but then I looked it up and found info on POM Kills Animals. POM is suffocating baby mice and cutting off their heads! I still drink pomegranate juice, but NOT POM (amazingly, none of POM’s competitors test on animals!), which is actually easier on my wallet too!

I heard about that. Basically they are injuring animals and then giving them POM to see if it helps, so they can legally say that POM has beneficial effects.

A good article in the news came out recently that confirmed a bias in who pays for a study. Private companies rarely publish studies if something flattering about their product isn't found and often something is contrived to make it look like something is found.

The milk & dairy industry were one of the biggest offenders ( i.e. "milk and eggs help you lose weight ")
