I want to develop the habit of waking up early because I can get a lot of things done when I'm up early in the morning. I'll get started now! What I have to do: As soon as I wake up, I record the time that I woke up in this thread to make sure that I actually woke up at the desired time. Start April 27, 2009 - End May 26, 2009 |

First, go to sleep slowly slowly, like you are falling into a deep and very calming dream, Than when you hear the clock/alarm whatever you choose to wake up from, you jump from bed like you were beaten by a snake, OK? Second, very easy, after you wake up, you go directly to the bath, and wash your face 3 times with your hands, ok with that also? Let me know how you did, |

April 28, 2009 To AttractIt: Hey, that sounds like a good idea. I'll try it out tomorrow. What I accomplished: -I woke up at 6:00 but I got up at 5 minutes later. I slept around 11ish. -I didn't get a chance to record my time earlier as soon as I woke up because the computer was occupied so I just did my jog first and then recorded it. -Franciz |

April 29, 2009 To Apollo: Thanks for the support Apollo. What I accomplished: I tried the jumping out of bed and washing my face as soon as I wake up and I love it. I'll try it again tomorrow but with more explosiveness. I woke up at 6 am and I slept around 10ish. My sleeping pattern is adjusting really well. I remember from my last "early riser" challenge I would wake up at a specific time but I slept at such random times. I would sleep in between 11-2. I would wake up early but I was really sleep deprived. Right now though, I don't really feel energized yet because the hours of sleep I'm getting is around 7<x<8 hours. I'll try to aim for 8<x<9 hours and record if theres any difference in energy levels. So far though, I feel great. I get to practice dance and do cardio alternatively. P'z -Franciz |

Hi Franciz, Before you challenge, what time did you usually get up? I like your challenge. I think it will be good for me, too. I should try it. I will be with you in this challenge. Right now, I'm waking up at 6h30 and it really hard. Good luck! Hugo |

April 30, 2009 Thanks a lot guys for the support. I really appreciate it. To hugofortin: I think I usually got up at 9. It was really random though sometimes though because in the past couple of weeks I've set up my alarm at 6 am so I would wake up at 6. I woke up at 6 but I resisted getting out of bed. No excuse for this one. I did try to spring out of my bed but it was half ass. Anyways, I got up at 6:24 and washed my face with cold water and I'm wide awake right now. I slept around 11ish. I'll try to do my challenge logging at a much earlier time like 8-9ish or do it in the morning because I was already really sleepy at 10. P'z -Franciz |

Franciz, you are right in the middle of the process of teaching yourself a new behavior, it's not easy, but that's the process, after you'll do it (maybe you'll need more than 30 days), you'll know new way of life, and with time you'll forget the old behavior, I salute you, |

May 3, 2009 To TaylorLord: I might change my waking moments on weekends when I'm done with the challenge because I go out on weekends and I like my sleep too. Good job though waking up at 12:40! What I accomplished/ and To AttractIt: I apologized for the misunderstanding. Its supposed to have been that I slept around 10:30 pm the night before and woke up at 6:00 am the next morning. I was being too lazy so I apologized again for the misunderstanding. Anyways, I slept pretty late 12:30 am and I woke up at 6:00 am. P'z -Franciz |

May 8, 2009 To SchoolisHard: You know what, I've been using improper English the whole time. So thanks a lot for correcting me. Daym! What I accomplished: I went to sleep at 12 and woke up at 6 am. I've been going to bed later than usual thats because my friend just got back from vacation from Asia and I've been hanging out with to get his sleeping patterns back to normal. Yep, P'z -Franciz |

May 10, 2009 To AttractIt: It was going pretty well except for today. Heres why, I went to sleep at 3 am and I tried getting up at 6 am but I failed. I woke up 4 hours later. I failed to wake up at 6 am today. I was at my friend's house and we had a deep conversation. It was pretty intense. P'z -Franciz |

May, 11, 2009 What I accomplished: I went to bed at 1 am and woke up at 6:06 am. I spent about 45 minutes starring at the ceilling. I've spent a considerable amount of time "hanging-out" this past week. Its good that I'm spending more time with my friends but at the same time its distracting me from my goals. I'll schedule a more appropriate time to hang-out with them in the future. -Franciz |
