| Do you know what spring water is? Legally for something to be called spring water, it must be potable. That means any water that can be drank without making someone sick. So tap water is spring water. It is not healthy for people where as Pure Water from R/O Purifiers or distillers is. If you scoop some water out of a polluted river and drink it and it does not make you sick then it is spring (potable) water. All liquid medicines are made with distilled water so the water in the medicine is not bad for health. I was thinking of clicking on your twitter link but did not since my knee was hurting. I wish there were something that could help with knee pain. Last edited by ginkgo; 04-18-2009 at 01:34 AM. |

when i say spring water i mean more specifically fossil water..meaning water that has been underground for thousands if not millions of years. i go to springs and get water myself. see it here: YouTube - my favorite spring based on my experiences with this, i will never drink dead water again. this is a topic that fascinates me and i look forward to talking about it more. |

I have well water, pumped from an aquifer deep underground. I also have an artesian spring on my property, but because it bubbles at the surface, it has too many surfance contaminants mixed in for me to want to drink it. I would not consider "spring" water to be the same as a "fossil" water. If water is in an underground aquifer, it's hard enough to figure out exactly where its source was... much less try to estimate how long each molecule has been underground. Not sure how anyone can validate the claim of "fossil" water unless perhaps you're melting blue uncontaminated glacial ice? Water is H2O. It is a molecule, not a living thing, so I'm not sure what it means to have "living" water? |

you seem to be a very left brained logical person. if you believe water is only H20, only a molecule, then no amount of discourse on my part can alter that. since you are mostly water and bacteria, more than human cells, and if water is JUST a molecule, then what does this say about YOU? |

I drink water from a spring located in the yard of a church nearby, in a neighborhood of Bucharest, a very large city. I don't know how clean it is, but they are constantly making analysis and displaying the results near the water tap. I also add coral powder (supposedly from the island of Okinawa) from Coral Club to it to make it more alkaline. |

| There is a guy on the internet (a link to a picture of him is on my site below-- losing weight) that never drinks water or any liquid. Never, ever. He eats lots of water. He is a bodybuilding fruitarian. The water in juicy fruits like watermelon or pineapple is the best. Sometimes I sunbathe my water. The purpose of water is not nutrition. The purpose of water is to transport things. It brings the nutrition in and the waste out. You can have sex in a car but that is not the purpose of a car. The purpose of a car is so the Transporter (guy in movie) can do his job. |

Give me a shred of evidence that the H2O molecule is something more. If I am to take it on Faith, then why shouldn't I take anything on Faith that anyone says? Should I believe they're not molecules but rather Thetans from alien spacemen, exterminated by Xenu? If this was the Spirituality forum, it would be ok to talk about theories of spirits and magical power. But this is the Health & Fitness forum, and believing in magical pixie dust isn't going to make one bottle of water more healthy than another. If it comes down to just belief, why not believe whatever bottle of water you're drinking is the most powerful? Why invent some "fossil" water molecule that is hard to find and impossible to verify? What's to stop someone from bottling tap water and calling it "fossil" water? Would you really know the difference? Millions of people right now pay 100 times the cost/liter for bottled water, thinking it's healthier, and the truth is much of that is plain old tap water(!!!) If we're looking for water with special powers, why don't we search for Ponce deLeon's Fountain of Youth? Quote:
