Wieght training is a science. That's what Rico Connor says. And He's definitely right.

Rico is a 54 year old body builder who owns the body that any 25 year old male dreams of.

I stubmled upon his videos on youtube.com and found them to be very helpful and insightful for those who wish to head in the right direction in the beginning of their trainging journey.

click the link to watch one of his videos: YouTube - The Science Of Weight Training by Rico Connor

I hope you find it helpful.

Woops - bodybuilding is not the same as weightlifting. There are actually several groups of people that utilize weights with different goals. The sport of "olympic weightlifting", for example, which focuses on snatching and clean & jerking barbells.

Also bodybuilding is so 1980s.

Why? The fundamentals are the same. Women's bodies are not significantly different from those of men (at least in terms of the way muscles respond to stimulus).
