Well if you have read my current post Very Bad Day, why not give up you already know where my mind has been the past two days. I picked up a supplement in the vitamin store a few weeks ago for which the woman told me would help with PMS. I have severe PMS symptoms. Ironically its around that time again and thought this would also help me relax and sleep. I am concerned about its side effects. After doing a few searches, it comes up all the same, its safe with no known side effects. It contains: GABA - which is a neurotransmitter which to me causes a little concern Tuarine L-Theanine Relora Holy Basil Leaf Extract Magnesium I normally do not take any herbs or medicines other than a multi-vitamin. I was just curious if anyone had any knowledge about these things. And if I take too much, what negative effects could I have. It is supposed to help sleep but if I can't sleep after taking one, I will consider taking another. In this mindset being awake right now is doing more damage and causing more pain and sleep would be best. I just want to get a full nights sleep. |

I don't think you need to worry about it at that low of a dose. If you were taking much more, possibly. Is it positively something that's suppose to be taken at night though? Probably because of the combination with taurine because it's suppose to calm you down. The bottle should say not to exceed a certain amount if it's dangerous. Helpful: Send positive energy (or prayer) when you take it and do affirmations as you fall asleep. |
