| Was talking with a buddy a week ago and the subject of shower filters came up. I live in Los Angeles and the water is heavily chlorinated here and so when you think about walking around all day with chlorine on your skin + breathing the chlorinated steam every day I kinda wonder about the health effects (esp. given what chlorine actually is). He recommended a shower filter but my local Whole Foods didn't have any. Any recommendations for a good one I can over the internet? Preferably one I don't have to change very frequently. Thanks!

| I use the Wellness one and it's AMAZING!! I notice a real difference. I have trouble justifying having a bath in the other bathroom now as the water smells so strongly of cholorine. It really makes a huge difference.

| I've used an Aquasana filter for more than a year; thrilled with the results. My skin was immediately less dry and my hair required less conditioning after I installed it, which was a quick and easy process. Replacing the filter (every 6 months) is also no-hassle, although that will run you another US$30-US$40 depending on where you buy. |

| fdr... so true. We noticed how wonderful having a shower filter was to. There are heaps of different kinds. My dream is to hvae all water in the whole house filtered. A friend of mine does that. We're moving soon to a new property that's all on rain water... so that will be a thing of the past anyway!!!

| allergic to chlorine. I used to live in Los Angeles. The water is awful there. Just want to let you know that a shower filter was my lifesaver, I had rashes on my face and body and dry hair before I used a shower filter. I bought mine at Whole Foods, it was inexpensive and a great investment on my health. |
