The root chakra, which is located at the base of the spine is the chakra responsible for stability, security, survival, safety, protection, being grounded and for having our higher desires manifest in the physical world where we live in. Any imbalance in this chakra could cause an actual physical ailment including the following: 1. chronic fatigue 2. knee problems 3. constipation 4. diarrhea continue |

Hi! I completely agree about the neglected root chakra and the physical problems that might entail, often overlooked.... Possibly because it is a denser vibration than the higher chakras, which people seem in a rush to develop in order to reach an enlightened state more quickly! But without the foundations, the top heavy house will eventually topple over! The physical disharmony that may result from top heavy energy or an underdeveloped root chakra is much to do with grounding and connection with our bodies as anything else, in my opinion. I actually feel that the 'energetic roots' and earth chakra need to be developed first, to be adequately grounded and know how to ground, before the root chakra, if we are to be able to fully embody our soul and spiritual power, in order to manifest! If these are not in place first people can experience some quite uncomfortable and real symptoms including panic and anxiety working with chakras and energy. But if you do it from the foundation up and with awareness of your individual energy system, it is a beautiful unfolding journey! I am very much one for exploring our current energy state from the inside, using simple meditation and energy awareness, I find that a good place to start alongside considering psychological elements, before beginning the balancing.... coming fully into ourselves embodying our selves and seeing things from the inside, rather than a one size fits all blanket approach! |
