Default OMG i think i just had a life changing epiphany

for my whole life, i have had trouble being alert in the morning and waking myself up. after waking up, the only thing i can think of is how long until i can get back to bed.

i have been conducting research on sleep/energy for the past few months and this has really increased my energy levels. changing my diet, drinking more water, and all of the many tricks recommended. while this has all helped immensely, i still feel like crap in the mornings.

i was laying on the floor doing some reading this morning, and wondering how great it would feel to just pass out and sleep. just by chance, i started stretching out my legs and arms, for no apparent reason.

i immediately felt a jolt through my body. it was miraculous. i then quickly got on google and looked through matches for stretching and waking up. all of the articles i had previously read had recommended stretching in the morning but for some reason i had overlooked this.

i read the details now about how it wakes up the body and increases circulation. i then began reading on self massage in the morning.

i am very excited right now. while this concept of stretching is most likely obvious to most of you here, this is like a breakthrough for me.

Interesting. Notice that animals always stretch upon waking. When my little doggy would wake up in the morn, even though he was so excited to face the day, he'd always take a moment to stretch his little body -- he did this without fail.
