dice is on a distinguished road
Default Intermittent Fasting

I've been doing the grazing/paleo/raw/psychotic-that-girl-always-has-food-in-her-hands lifestyle

and now at university it has become totally unconventional to be dragging pound of peas, eggs, bananas, apples and tofu in a bag with all my books

to add to that, i've hit a mushy plateau. I'm fairly certain my body has just adapted to the 8 meals a day (literally) and my metabolism doesn't seem to budge.

So I found this:

Is Intermittent Fasting Healthy? | Mark's Daily Apple
Intermittent Fasting with Martin Berkhan-The Follow Up - Fat Loss Troubleshooter-Leigh Peele

Basically, you eat a lot of whole food (starchy carbs like oatmeal, bananas, protein and veggies. easy on fructose) within a few hours and that is IT!

So i would skip breakfast, lunch, workout, and then stuff my face between 3-8PM

I will be giving this a test drive this week - alas it won't require any willpower on my part - I just won't pack any food.

I dislike measurements, but I'll keep records just for the sake of motivating anyone else.

SO tomorrow I'll start this engine. I'm doing intervals on my bike as a workout (60seconds going at 35mph, 2mins resting, for 30mins) - I've been keeping that up for a week and my face/eyes have been de-puffed.

any comments/experiences/insights/deets very welcome

This is roughly where I'm sitting, with slightly less booty and more calf muscle:

125-130lb, 5"6.
Goal has been 115-120lbs (for 2 years. *sigh*)
Second goal is to never be thinking of when my next snack is when passively working. (for 2 years. *sigh*)

Okay, les do it!
