Default My first Polyphasic Sleep and habits

Hi I just startedy polyphasic sleep and If I should do everything I did like before just will less sleep. What I mean is especially morning routine. Should I do my morning routine which is:
Drink water
Take a shower
Excercise a little bit(I don't want to run at 4AM)
Drink a cup of tea.

PS: Does't it matter that after awaking I used to drink MATE - IQ tea which is classical mate tea with little of some other ingredients to feel more alert. It has cofein but I am not sure how much compared to coffe.

Your diet seems fine just stay away from caffeine as far as I can remember it interferes with REM sleep, the important thing is just to stay active.

Yes running at 4 AM is weird but in time I got used to it.
Good luck with your starting poly, the next couple of days will be tough

QFT. Set lots of alarms, avoid comfortable seats when you're trying to stay awake (stools or chairs without arms are best), and be sure to get up the moment your alarm goes off. If you mess up, at least before you acclimate, you'll probably have to start over from the beginning. Always double-check your alarms before you go to sleep; nothing is more frustrating than waking up six hours later and realizing that you set it for AM instead of PM. It might be helpful if you make a written checklist to go through before laying down, so that you don't forget any steps in the fog of sleepiness.

Thanks for encourgment.
Thing with cofeine is that there is not that much caffeine in Mate tea and in green tea in general. I don't drink black tea right now.
