Default I feel so sick...ugh. I went a week on nothing but juice, vegetbles, and fruit

And felt FANTASTIC.

But then, a couple of days ago, I had some meat, cereal, and alcohol. (Not at the same time).

And it's possible they're not related, but I woke up shivering and feeling like ****. My stomach is queasy for the past 3 days, and I had a strong headache for the first 2 days.

My skin looks terrible. Like I'm flustered. My skin is dry, and spots have broken out...

Damn. I've taken two days off work so far, and I think I need to take another day off tomorrow.

Big changes in diet can easily make a person sick, but you sound extremely sick. Is it possible you picked up a stomach bug (or a bit of bad food)?

Why are you cruel to your body? If you break from the standard american diet for a week, and then immediately go back to your old habits, you're delivering a lot of shock to your body.

Baby steps my friend. You don't need to make such radical changes so quickly.

Having to take 3 days off from work sounds like good reason to see a doctor to me.

Yes, it was more than likely a stomach bug. Apparently, in my area it's going around.

Good post. Incremental changes are best. But I don't think it's what caused me to be sick.

I didn't go to see a doctor. I feel fine now, fully better.

I took a week off work though...
